The number of foreclosure auction announcements tracked by The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman, decreased in July, according to a statement released August 31, 20 11.
Auction announcements declined 26 percent to 1,319 from 1,788 in July 2010. From January through July, 10,107 auctions have been announced, a 45 percent decline from 18,468 auctions announced during the same period in 2010.
