Mortgage Applications Dip 6.2 Percent

U.S. mortgage applications declined 6.2 percent compared to the previous week, the Associated Press reported July 23, 2008.

The data comes from the Mortgage Bankers Association.

Refinance applications declined 5.6 percent, and purchase applications dropped 6.7 percent.
