The median price of single-family homes declined 8.9 percent in the first half of 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $22,800. Single-family home sales in Haverhill, MA fell 7.6 percent in the first six months of 2011, a difference of 13 sales compared to the previous year.
From January through June 2011, the median condo price decreased 11.3 percent, or $18,300 compared to the first half of 2010. Condominium sales fell 37.1 percent, a difference of 46 sales during the same time period.
The median price of multi-family homes rose 10.7 percent in the first half of 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $15,000. Sales of multi-family homes fell 60.9 percent in the first six months of 2011, a difference of 42 sales compared to the six-month period in 2010.
