The median price of single-family homes declined 4.3 percent in the first half of 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $16,250. Single-family home sales in Franklin, MA fell 12.1 percent in the first six months of 2011, a difference of 14 sales compared to the previous year.
From January through June 2011, the median price of condominiums plunged 21.7 percent, or $61,450 compared to the first half of 2010. Franklin condo sales fell 27.8 percent, a difference of 15 sales.
The median price of multi-family homes fell 5.2 percent in Q1 and Q2 compared to the same period in 2010, a difference of $15,000. Sales of multi-family homes increased 66.7 percent in the first six months of 2011, a difference of only two sales compared to the same six-month period in 2010.
