Median Price Falls, But 2011 Single-family Home Sales Jump in Bridgewater, MA

The median price of single-family homes in Bridgewater, Massachusetts decreased in 2011, but sales increased, according to data compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.

The median price of single-family homes fell 7.2 percent in 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $21,450.  Single-family home sales in Bridgewater, MA jumped 16.7 percent in 2011, a difference of 21 sales compared to 2010.  

Condominium sales plunged 40.9 percent in 2011, a difference of 25 sales compared to 2010. The median price of condos fell 0.7 percent in 2011, a difference of $1,050 compared to the previous year.

Multi-family home sales rose 11.1 percent in 2011, a difference of just one sale compared to 2010. The median price of multi-family homes dropped 14.9 percent in 2011, a difference of $36,450 compared to 2010.

Bridgewater, MA Home Prices Decline First Half 2011

The median price of homes in Bridgewater, Massachusetts decreased in the first half of 2011, according to data compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.
 
The median price of single-family homes declined 6.1 percent in the first half of 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $18,200.  Single-family home sales in Bridgewater, MA were flat with 69 sales in both the first half of 2010 and 2011.

In January through June 2011, the median price of condominiums decreased 13.1 percent, or $20,900 compared to the first half of 2010.  Condo sales plummeted 48.3 percent, a difference of 14 sales.  

The median price of multi-family homes fell 14.3 percent in the first half of 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $33,000.  Sales of multi-family homes fell 50 percent in the first six months of 2011, a difference of three sales compared to the six-month period in 2010.
