Home Prices Rise in Lexington, MA May 2011

The median price of single-family and condominium homes in Lexington, Massachusetts increased while sales were flat in May 2011, according to real estate market data compiled using MLS Property Information Network, Inc, a local multiple listing service.

The median price of single-family homes increased 5.1 percent in May 2011 compared to the previous year, a difference of $36,500.  Single-family home sales in Lexington, MA were unchanged with 37 sales in both May 2010 and May 2011.

Condominium sales in Lexington, MA also were flat in May, with four sales in May 2011 and the previous May. The median price of condos surged 41.1 percent in May 2011, a difference of $183,750 compared to May 2010.

There were not any multi-family homes sold in May 2011 in Lexington, MA, down from one sale the previous year.
