Woburn, Massachusetts single-family home sales jumped 29.4 percent in May compared to May 2009, according to data compiled from MLS Property Information Network, Inc., the local multiple listing service.
The median price for a single-family home increased 5.2 percent, from $330,000 to $347,000.
Similarly, the sales and median price of multi-family homes and condominiums also increased. Sales of multi-family homes rose significantly, climbing 133.3 percent, from three homes sold to seven homes sold; however, median prices only rose by .5 percent.
Woburn, MA condo sales rose by 150 percent, from six condos sold to 15 condos sold, while median price rose 23.7 percent.
